    Updates

I've been trying to clear off my desk of a few things before I head out of town next week. After doing filing, order processing, invoicing, and putting away the scattered junk the kids like to bring to show me and never cart off again, I was left with : a take out menu from a chinese restaurant I've never eaten at shuffled in with the invoicing; a few thank you cards I need to finish and get in the mail; an empty chocolate bar wrapper (hey! who's been eating chocolate at my desk and not sharing?), and a stack of mail that came a few days ago addressed to the previous resident - who moved out almost 9 years ago, and died almost 7.

I left the mail sitting on the corner of the desk - maybe today is the day remember to make that grueling 60 foot walk out to the mailbox - and tossed the menu and wrapper. Yay clean desk!

Samantha got a good report from the doctor this week, so she's off the medications. Now we wait and see if she gets another flare up. Good news there.

Montgomery is next up at the doctor. He's got a vacination due before he can go back to school, and has a typical 12 year old's dislike for needles. "They" really need to find a method of vacination that doesn't involve long sharp needles piercing the skin.

Time to put that clean desk to work now - hope you have a happy Humpday!
